    Xbox One X stuck in 640x480


    I resolved this issue but wanted to share it.

    Had an issue with my Project Scorpio Xbox One. Had it since launch with no problems but today it was only displaying in 640x480.

    I read up on a few other posts about this, all suggestions pointing towards a fault with the console. However after trying different hdmi socket’s, cable’s and hard reboots none of witch worked. I also noticed i was also getting no audio.

    Fix for me was to uplug my TV from the mains and then back on! Hope this helps anyone else with this problem.

    There are a few others I tried from non-microsoft forums but they just repeat the same troubleshooting suggestions from above.

    I had the same problem. After messing around in settings I found a solution that worked for me. Go to "Display & Sound" in the setting menu. Select "TV connection" and set it to anything except auto-select. I think the tv and console are having trouble communicating
    which makes it select incorrectly. From there select the right resolution for your tv and problem solved. Hope this helps you guys.
