Xbox One X stuck at 480p on one TV

My Xbox One X is stuck on 480p even on auto-detect. It was working fine before. The TV and HDMI cable is not the issue as I plugged in my Series X and it was fine. I did plug in my Xbox One X on another 4K display and it worked but it will not work on my main TV.

EDIT: 6/3/22 - I can't reply for some reason (I click submit to reply but it does not go through). It didn't work.

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

Kindly reset your display by following the steps below:

1. If there's a disc in the Xbox console, eject it.

2. On the console, press and hold the Xbox button for 10 seconds to turn off the console.

3. Press and hold the Xbox button and the Eject button until you hear a beep to turn on the console. You’ll hear one beep right away and a second beep 10 seconds later. The power light will flash on before the second beep. Don’t let go until the second beep occurs.

4. In either case, this will boot your console in low resolution mode (640 × 480). To reset this setting, press the Xbox button to open the guide. Go to Profile & system > Settings > General > TV & display options, and then select the resolution you want from the Display dropdown.

480p is the only resolution that works on the xbox one with my tv.

I have the same issue. Stuck in 480p. I tried everything suggested in this conversation including other tvs still stuck. I think my hdmi out port must have gone bad.
