    Xbox One X startup trouble


    So I just got a new Xbox One X console and i was ahving trouble updating it. I turned off the console and tried turning it back on and it showed the black screen. I tried holding down the Xbox logo and link button and got it to turn on and show the troubleshoot
    screen but when i tried to continue and press the reset option it went back to being blank. I dont know what to do next.

    Do you mean the Xbox One X intro before the standard green startup screen is missing? If so, go to your display settings and check if the output is 4k. If it is, then theres nothing to worry about. Your X is working as normal, only the startup is missing.
    Theres no need for a replacement

    Microsoft haven't said it is. I believe the green Xbox One startup screen will stay, and the Xbox Series X/S will get the new Xbox boot up screen.
