Xbox One X startup has changed

My Xbox One X has always gone straight to the login at startup, but over the last couple of weeks, it starts with the animated chip, then goes to the green Xbox One screen, then to the login. My home page also seems to load everything more slowly now, and if the console has been off for a few hours, it wants to restart the last game played instead of jumping right back into it. In the past, it would jump to where I left off days or even a week later. I hope someone can help me solve this issue. Thanks!

    :)

It can take up to 14 to 21 business days to be completed.

One more update. It has something to do with the amount of time the xbox has been shut down. Everything works fine if I turn it back on within some short amount of time, but if it's been off for an hour or more, I get the glitches.

Hi there. My name is Ron, I'm an independent advisor. I will be more than happy to help you.

Please try the following steps one at a time to resolve the issue:

Solution 1: Do a power cycle to clear the cache of the console

    1. Turn off the Xbox console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.

    2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

    3. Plug the console power cable back in.

4, Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox console.

Solution 2: If there is an external hard drive connected to your console now, please turn off your console and then disconnect the external hard drive. Turn on your console without it and see if it works fine.

Solution 3: Try doing the button sequence below to do a factory reset and let me know if it works.

    - Unplug the network cable if you're using a wired network connection.

    - Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.

    - Wait 30 seconds.

    - Plug the power cord back in.

    - Press and hold the BIND button (the one you use to sync controllers) and the EJECT button, and then press the Xbox button on the console.

    - Continue holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds.

    - Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart.

Note: If you don't hear two power-up tones after 15 seconds, it means this failed. Likewise, if you hear any “power-down” chirps, that also means this failed.

    - You can release the BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.

    - The console should start and show the Troubleshooting screen

    - Choose "reset this Xbox" and there you have an option to Keep Games and Apps (already downloaded) or to Remove Everything

I sincerely do apologize for the inconvenience. Since we have tried all the possible steps here to sort out the issue. There seems to be a hardware failure with the console already. I would highly recommend sending in the console for repair service. You can create a repair order by logging in to your account to this link, https://account.microsoft.com/devices/select-de....

Select the device that you want to be repaired.

Follow the onscreen steps to complete your service order request.

After Device Services receives your submission, they’ll send you a service order number and an order confirmation email that includes shipping or drop-off instructions.
