  1. Xbox One X Start Up Issues

Hello, so I just recently purchased an Xbox One X, hoping for an UPGRADE to my standard One. However, it does not seem to work due to constant "start up issues". I cannot even turn on my xbox without the E105 or E102 system errors showing up. I have tried
everything possible to fix this and have talked with Microsoft support members. I have already tried to cold start my Xbox One X, reset my wireless connection, connect to different wi-fi both wirelessly and wired, and I have factory reset the console 7 times
total with 0 luck. I cannot even do an offline update because I cannot format my flash drive to NTFS format on my MacBook. As a result, I am no longer able to do anything. So I am trying to request a service for my console however I am consistently approached
with a "checking for eligibility" loading screen which does not go away or actually load anything. If anyone else is experiencing similar issues it would be great to know. Also, if anyone has any solutions, that would be great as well.

    Thank you,

    Sincerely an Xbox Supporter

    :)

when I go to start my Xbox I get the green screen for a minute (or two) then the screen goes black. I've tried cutting the power completely for 5 minutes and then starting up again. Before I've been able to limp through to reset it, but this time it's just
a blank screen. How do I fix this and how do I keep it from happening again?

This can be fixed with an offline update. Now as you can't actually access the settings to do this there is a way to restore to factory defaults using a USB flash drive. If you visit the offline system diagnostic support page you can download the Restore
    Factory Defaults file:

    support.xbox.com/.../system-updates-solution

Read through the process of formatting the flash drive etc thoroughly and follow the instructions as if you were doing a system update but using the file you downloaded you may find that your console will then boot correctly.

    Hope this helps you!

Since November 7, I have not experienced any technical problems with my new Xbox One X. However, earlier today I observed similar symptoms like you described and I was stuck on the green Xbox loading screen, but I did not receive an error code message. I
contacted Xbox support on Twitter and asked them how to delete the cache. I briefly explained a recommended method on the original Xbox One included unplugging the power supply and holding down the power button for 10 seconds, but I did not know if the same
applied to the Xbox One X. An Xbox Ambassador responded and said, "The power cycle which is holding down the power button for 10 seconds and unplugging the console clears the cache as well."

Additionally, I tried this two or three times but I continued seeing a green loading screen and after several minutes it would go to a solid black screen with no content. As a result, I located the "I need help with system updates on my Xbox One " and tried
the "I need to update my console offline" option. Furthermore, this included downloading the offline system update file (OSU1) to a USB flash drive that was formatted to NTFS. The zip file was approximately 3.57 GB and I pressed the bind and eject button while
simultaneously holding the power button in order to reach the troubleshoot screen. My console restarted and began updating the console but it froze around 86%.

Likewise, the troubleshooting steps asked, "Were you returned to the home screen after the update" and I selected no. Then, it asked, "Are you seeing the 'something went wrong' error screen" and I selected no. Step six prompted me to restart my console during
the update procedure by holding down the Xbox button for 10 seconds but I was not returned to the home screen after my console restarted. Overall, pressing and holding the bind and eject button and then pressing the power button got me back to the troubleshooting
screen where I selected reset this Xbox. I am in the Xbox Insider Program and my console is in the Update Preview: Beta Ring.

I am not sure if this is related to the last system update but I will provide the build and link to the troubleshooting next, and I hope this helps you with your problem.

    OS Version: 16299.4037.amd64fre.rs3_release_xbox_dev_1711.171110-1615

I've had issues since day one. Have been told the issue is widespread and any Microsoft store should replace console. I am torn apart because I want this awful dead system gone, but, i have a Scorpio and they won't replace them.

  7. I have had exactly the same issues. My console is 2 weeks old and wont start up properly. Keep getting error messages. I've just sent it off to Microsoft. I'm hoping for a replacement console. It's ridiculous that a brand new console costing what it does
    has these problems.

  8. Xbox One X Start Up Issues

Hello, how are you? Hope you can fix your Xbox One X. I bought the console in EEUU in December 2017, it is not an Xbox one X Scorpio, is the predecessor. Around one month I began to have the e105 error. After doing all that microsoft suggest I began to
receive the error e102 and e200. I found In a forum that this is Hard Drive error. Beacause I am leaving in Argentina I don't know if MS would give me assistance so I began to investigate to make a Hard Drive replacement, I change the original one for a Seagate
Blue 128mb cache 5400RPM 1tera. The system runs well but then when I began to make games installations like around 60gb (Halo Collection) and 150gb (GOW 4) I began to receive the e105 again, I was so irritated, I always give it a chance to XBox I had de RROD
on Xbox 360 Falcon and then this. So one day after the console Starts (a few days before), I leave it Turned on and began to read in forums again. After about 5-10' I did a Hard Reset pressing the button for 10 seconds waiting that my TV gives me the NON-SIGNAL,
then unplug the power connector for 10-20'' and plug it again, and then the console starts. So, ufffff, well, when I tried to began the installations of this heavy games, they stop, and stop, and stop, If I read the description error again is the error, but
the last part of it (without the e105). Then again do the Hard reset, unplug, all the process. Turn on the system and again it runs smoothly and do the heavy games update without problems. This problem begans on Winter in my country (Around 5° and 10° celsius)
and my house is very cold I don't like the heaters to much, so it is always cold on Winter. After the e105 problem I set the configuration for Energy Saving and to turn off the hard drive when the Xbox is switched off, to make sure the Hard Drive rest and
it's not always updating. So now, I repeat all the process every day I want to use it, plug it and wait, do hard resets, and the system began to work, I thing it is a software problem, something with the Network, I don't know is hard to know, the console didn't
tell us much about the error and the MS help its very poor, we don't have a LOG detailing the error and make it all the process that MS suggests, remove the games from the console and/or remove all accounts saving its far the worse solution for me. Well I
am just trying to tell you me experience with the console, hope this error will fix with any console update, I hope to help any of you people in this forum too. Thanks for reading!!!!
