Xbox one X - Spyro Reignited Trilogy fails to boot after fresh install

Installed the game from a brand new disc (even though pretty much all of the game is via download). It finishes installing, go to boot up the game for the first time. Just a black screen for about a few seconds, then it kicks me back to the dashboard without
any error code.

Deleted the game and installed it again after several hours. The same thing is happening, sometimes Im able to get it to boot with the logo's showing up but its really laggy its all glitched up. Then it goes to a blank screen then straight back to the dashboard
with no error. Its installed on my internal hdd.

I installed the crash bandicoot trilogy before this from a disc and it all went flawlessly, game boots up fine. All games seem to launch fine and work apart from spyro, digital and from a disc. Out of all the games I have owned, I have never had this problem
before?

try to power cycle your console. Please hold down the power button on the front of the console for approximately 15 seconds until the power light shuts off. Wait about 60 seconds, then power it back on. Be sure you see the green "XBOX ONE" animation loading
screen when you power it back up. then run the game

Just did what you said, its still doing the same. I even let the xbox sit with the power off for about 5 min after clearing the cache. The activision logo is all
corrupt and stuttering. Then the 'toys for bob logo' shows up and its fine. Then after that just a black screen then it crashes.

I even tried removing my external hdd to see of thats causing anything, but it hasn't made any difference.

Did the soft factory reset, keeping all my games and apps. Unfortunately the problem still persists.

Is it possible in the case of spyro even though only around 500mb of data is on that disc with the main files downloaded, that the disc is somewhat faulty?

We understand that you're experiencing issues concerning the crashing of Spyro.

If the problem persists, try doing a soft factory reset of the
console, reset and keep games and apps to help reset the operating system. Please note before doing this troubleshooting step, make sure to know your email and passwords for your Xbox profiles.

Try this out first and let us know the results.

I'd recommend checking out the Spyro Reignited Trilogy. This is the first three Spyro games remastered.
