Xbox one x sound cuts in and out

I’ve had the one x Scorpio edition for a while now and it’s been fine but for the past month it’s been having this issue where every couple seconds the sound will cut out for a second or two. I’ve tried to fiddle with the audio out options. I’ve tried
changing my hdmi cable. Ive tried soft resetting the system. I can get clear sound from my wireless Astro a50 headset but the tv stereo cuts out still. I’m out of ideas.

Problem with blu ray playback

Whilst playing blu rays on xbox one x, on several occasions the sound cuts out for several seconds and then when comes back on, the picture freezes for several more seconds with sound on. This happens with all discs. Any ideas?

Sound cuts out????

I'm having similar issue and only on the xbone. I have a 360 and ps3 which are working fine but xbone seems to lose bass signal every 2-3 minutes for half a second. Doesn't sound like much but it's frigging annoying. Happening on both games and blu ray.

It only started happening since the update on the 5th of march, never happened before that

I don’t think it matters because the issue was pre-existing but I have recently installed atmos for headphones and it hasent changed the speakers. I mean it’s meant for headphones but I thought that might be reasonable to know.

Please try uninstalling the game then

Turn off the Xbox One console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.

Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

Plug the console power cable back in.

Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox One

And install the game again

You could also Try to restore keeping games and apps, please be sure that you know your account email and password:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

On the Reset your console screen, you'll see three option use this one, be sure you remember the email and password of you're accounts:

Reset and keep my games & apps. Use this option as your primary choice when troubleshooting. It will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or apps. In some cases, if a corrupt game file is causing the issue you're troubleshooting, you may have to choose Reset and remove everything, but you should always start with Reset and keep my games & apps

Have you got a kinect sensor connected? As that could be cutting the sound out from picking up background noise as seen here

If that's the issue you can disconnect the kinect feature as shown here

Had the exact same issue with it being inconsistent as to whether it's cutting out in-game or in-menu. Is there a solution?

Thanks for the suggestions. Think I’ve sorted the issue now. It was to do with hdmi settings, some of the visual output settings were wrong & I assume it was interfering with the sound output. For anyone else experiencing it, it’s a question of going in & making sure everything’s at the optimum settings for your tv
