    Xbox One X sometimes starts up to a black screen


    I recently noticed that sometimes our Xbox One X would start up to a black screen. However, when I hold the Xbox logo on a controller, the "What do you want to do?" screen pops up and it gives me the usual options to "Turn console off," "Turn controller
    off", "Report a problem," etc. So I know it's on, but the dashboard doesn't show up when you press the Xbox logo on a controller or media remote. The only way I've been able to recover is to unplug. I just realized I could probably do a 10-second hold on the
    console Xbox logo.

    I can also choose "Report a problem" and it starts the app.

    Any thoughts on what's wrong?

    Black screen while playing

    Hello, since few days I have the problem that my Xbox One x get a black screen while playing. The screen becomes black for 1-2 seconds, while playing or when I browse in the store. The Black screen appears randomly, different Games. Sometime three times
    in 10 Minutes. I try a new hdmi cable, cold Start the Xbox (press 10s the power button on the Xbox), cold Start of my Samsung Tv. Nothing helps, have everyone the same Problem or a Solution. Thx and Kind regards Andreas

    XBOX One Black screen of death.

    I'm now experiencing what appears to be the same issue as Terrell Watson. My xbox had started behaving glitchy and slow for the past week or so. Then today at start up my Xbox One was stuck at the green loading screen for 10 plus minutes before the screen
    went black. My Xbox One then hung on a blank black screen forever sometimes displaying an icon for a few seconds before going completely black again.

    I have the same problem on a brand new machine updated and then went black. WTF? I just returned another one for the same. This seams like a real problem. WHAT IS THE FIX MS/X-box EMPLOYEES?

    im having the same issue, scorpio edition, screen went grey on returning to home...controller wouldn't work. Did a hard reset (10 sec) and it booted up ok. Played around in menus for a while and it locked up again. Recently had a 0x800401fb error that only
    reolved with a hard boot as well.... seriously getting pissed off that my $600 console feels lile its gonna **** the bed.

    Do you see anything at all when you press the white Home button on the controller? Sometimes when I start my Xbox One up, I get a black screen and I have to press the white Home button which will open the side bar menu. Then I press Home and it brings
    up the home screen. It's very strange but I get this black screen sometimes too.
