  1. Xbox One X sluggish performance

I've noticed after doing some research, this is an ongoing issue for some time, and this issue still plagues users long after updates. I own a Xbox One X. I have exceptional internet speeds (fiber/gig). Here is a list of things I've tried, with no success:

o Factory Reset with Keep games and apps option

    o Hard reset of xbox

    o Reset internet router/modem

o Restart console from settings tab

o Turn off console from settings tab

o Turn off console with remote

    o Clear persistent storage (settings--disc & blu ray--blu ray--persistent storage--clear persistent storage)

    o Clear alt mac address (settings--network--network settings--advanced settings--alternate mac address--clear)

o Clear local "stuff" (settings--system--storage--clear local saved games, clear local xbox 360 storage

o Ensure storage space is adequate (internal 1TB: 19% used, external 4TB: 43% used)

    o Reset console (settings--system--console info--reset console

o Verify console is updated (settings--system--updates & downloads--latest update status

o Ensured no comms, privacy, or content settings would interfere with anything I was attempting to execute

o Verified on xbox enforcement page that I was not currently under any ban, suspension, or other similar status

o Remove account from the xbox and subsequently place it back on (settings--account--remove accounts

    o Full shutdown (settings--power & startup--turn off or restart--full shutdown

o I have cleared all xbox live messages, as well as, all my conversations

I realize that is quite long, but feel it was needed. I wanted to be sure I stated everything I recalled doing and how I went about it. The list is not necessarily in the order that I did things. I am fairly certain I am not part of the "insider program"
or whatever it is called. My biggest problem areas seem to be dealing with captures, loading conversations, sending/receiving text form messages or shared content, and the occasional app issue (i.e. mixer, etc). In all stated areas, the problem is sluggish
performance or outright unresponsive and crashing/freezing. Occasionally I may get a message that accompanies a problem, but not always. An example would be, after attempting to load a conversation on my console through xbox live, I get "We can't get all of
your messages right now. Check back later." How can I (and many others) fix these performance problems, or what do we need to do differently?

    :)

I made a pretty detailed list of all steps I took to resolve issues in the original post. It includes all of those suggestions.

I may have misunderstood your intended point, but what you are implying is that my next gen console can not multitask. Some processes are meant to run simultaneously or concurrently. An example is taking a screenshot, recording a clip, broadcasting gameplay.
The only way to do any of that is while a game/program is running. What is the purpose of having a more powerful console if I can't even use messaging because I'm playing a game at the time? To answer your question though, whether something or multiple things
are running, has no definitive impact on the sluggish performance. It seems to exist from the moment the X1X is powered on.

    I use a surge protector:

GE 12-Outlet Surge Protector With 2 USB Ports, Black

My X1X is currently set to instant on.

The protector was purchased new and specifically to plug my xbox, external hard drive, and TV into.
Can you please try connecting the console directly to a wall outlet? Connecting via a surge protector/power strip/extension can affect how well the console runs.

I have and it seems I left that off my list. I will update the list of steps taken.
