    Xbox One X Slowing Down & Then Freezing


    Hey,

    I think I need to send my One X off for repair, but hoping for some guidance just in case it's not an internal issue. A few days ago my One X started to run slowly and then eventually crashed and I was unable to get to even the dashboard until a day later
    as when I tried to power the console back on it just gave a me a blank screen or E200 error message.

    I've tried a few things to solve the issue such as power cycling, resetting the console and uninstalling and reinstalling some games but nothing has worked. I'm thinking because everything just simply slows down and then crashes it is some kind of internal
    problem with the hardware that I'm unable fix myself, but if anyone has any suggestions it would be most appreciated.

    pieces freeze

    jig saw pieces are slowing down and often freezing up. Then program closes. Other games are OK

    Hard drive content missing.

    Freezing and slowing down it's sign of errors in hard drive. Seems your console's hard drive needs formatting.

    Also don't be useless and tell me to factory reset my xbox. I already have several times to try and fix the issue and it didn't work. What a surprise right?

    I'm a Independent Advisor. I will be glad to help you.

    Try to perform a cache clear, this may help the console to work as before.

    Try to perform a cache clear with the following steps.

    Remove your account from the console

    1. Press and hold the Power button on the front of your Xbox until the console turns off.

    2. Unplug the power cord from the back of your Xbox.

    3. Wait a minute, and then plug the power cord back in.

    4. Press the Power button on your Xbox to turn it back on.

    5. Your cache should be clear at this point.

    Log back in with the account.

    If this does not work, try a reset of the console keeping games and applications.

    Go to Settings>System>Console Information

    And restart keeping your games.

    Note that the console accounts will be removed, so you will need to have the email and password for each account to log back in.

    Your progress, achievements, purchases and other data will remain intact, don't worry about that, you won't lose any data, the only thing you need to do is to log in again.
