XBox One X slower than XBox One S

I have an XBox One X and an XBox One S. Both have been upgraded to an internal 1TB SSD drive ( Same model ). Even before the SSD upgrade the XBox One S would:

-Start faster then the One X

-Open games faster than One X

-And most frustrating would return to lobby and "ready up" in games like Fortnite, PUBG, etc. faster than the One X

Both machines are connected via 1GB ethernet connection back directly to my DSL Router ( Do not go through the Switch.... same results though when going thru the switch)

I've also physically switched the connections between the 2 machines. Same results

Yes.... the video on the One X is more vibrant/crisp than the One S but the performance is not as good as the One S. Whats up with that.

My Xbox One X downloads slower than the original day one console when they are hooked up exactly the same way.

I don't, I have an Xbox One S. However, my fiancé has one and he still gets updates. It's just slower than the one I own.

The xbox one is not slower than than the 360.

Like you've been told before,there must be something wrong with your xbox one if it takes longer to boot up & is slower than your 360.

My xbox one is a day one & it's miles faster than any of my xbox 360's.

I find it depends on what power mode you have your Xbox One set to, Instant On or Energy Saving.

With Instant On my One S beats my old Xbox 360 Elite to the dashboard by a huge margin. Put it in Energy Saving though and the 360 comes out on top by a similar amount of time. I videoed the two instances if you would care to see the difference.

A Series S/X is a different console than an Xbox One. So if it's only for the Series S/X, it will not work on a One.
