Xbox One X Slowdown, glitches, freezing.

When this all started I was playing elderscrolls online and when I started the game it gave me an error message saying that it could not sync my save games and it made me try clearing local save games so it could sync the save files which they were just
the saves for the games settings, I haven't had my xbox one X very long and this just started happening, I have had an xbox one since it was launched and never had these problems.

After a few times of receiving that error I decided I would error report it, the first time I tried the console froze, and the second time it failed to report, the THIRD time it worked but I never really got a response.

When playing other games it started doing it.. so then I was fed up, I couldn't even launch strange brigade when I bought it.

It gave me the sync error the first launch (It never even had save data??) and it would disconnect my controller, every time I would turn the controller on it would give me the message then shut my controller off.

I eventually said to hell with it and shut it off by holding the power button in and went to work.

Upon returning I booted it back up and everything was fine for a few days then all hell broke loose and all this happened.

I just tried installing a game off a disc and it is doing the exact same thing my downloads are doing.

Just stopping so much it wont even work.

I don't even know how I managed to get some of these games to download, it wont even budge at times just instantly failing.

So I give up.

I am at the end here.

Hello Neverdweller,

Being that you have tried all this we recommend getting the console repaired. There are two ways you can set up a repair:

Online repair set up sign in, register device, follow prompts to set repair up.

Other is you can request a call back and talk with a support agent.

When you go to
Contact Us to get it to request a callback follow these steps:

Step 1 ----select Xbox One

Step 2 ----select no thanks

Step 3-----select games

Step 4 ----select request a call from support

Once they call explain the issue and they will be able to help you.

There is a third option if you are by a Microsoft store you can call them or visit and take the console into the store.

Hi there,

Ive found that sometimes, believe it or not, Mixer is running in the background and weighing down the system. Check to make sure that Mixer and Edge arent running, I had that problem before and closing these manually really helped. Also, turning off smooth
transitions between screens helped a lot.

Okay, the issue DID persist, after a game of overwatch I tried playing dead by daylight and it had me do a download of 2gigs.. the download would never start right, kept going extremely slow and kept stopping.

After completely going black screen I hard reset the xbox to an error screen, which did NOT go away and froze when I attempted to use the reset option AND the reset but keep games option.

Using the Completely erase all data allowed me to restart the xbox and it started properly and I am running a download of Dead by daylight at 100mbps instead of 0-600kbps and 24mbps, with no random stopping currently at 5 gigs.

We are here to assist, however we will need a little more information. How is the console connected to the power? How is it connected to the internet and is there any external hard drives attached to the console? Let us know so we can get this issue resolved
