    Xbox One X Shutting Off Automatically


    Help! My Xbox One X console has been shutting off somewhat randomly for the past few days. Its always either when searching for a game in Call of Duty Modern Warfare or at the end of a match in Rainbow Six Siege. This does not appear to be a overheating
    issue, as while the console is warm, its certainly not hot and I've also received no notifications telling me it overheated. This is the only device in my home that has this issue (tv, computer, etc all stay on). The console is located in a fairly open area
    and has been dusted and cleaned. I have tried on both a wired and wireless network connection. Though I have been ddos attacked a few time in the last couple weeks though I don't know if that would affect this at all. Either way, this is very frustrating
    as its basically made the Xbox unplayable due to the random nature of worrying about the console randomly turning off.

    I have looked for other solutions online but everything points to a overheating problem which I really don't think this is it, unless its a specific component that's overheating rather then the whole system, but again nothing appears to be abnormally warm.

    Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

    No not installed.

    I tried all the tips on xbox.com for xbox automatically shutting off.

    None work sadly.

    Iv dealt with it now for the past 4 days.

    Can't take it anymore. Gonna return it to walmart for a exchange. Hopefully I just got a faulty console.
    I've got this issue on both of my xboxs, I wonder if its an issue related to our accounts and not just hardware since it started doing this on my xbox one s and x at the same time.

    I know I should send my console in. If for no other reason than to better understand what's going on. As a Destiny hobbyist, I'd have to say I would miss the crap outta my console if it was sent out.

    I'm also one of those people that values back ups. I'll never have one headset or controller, for example. I have two elite controllers set up to my preference right down to same Kontrol Freeks. Because stick drift, bumper breaks, and grip peeling happens.
    A year or a day from now, I've yet to meet anyone that games daily who gets by unscathed. It's just hard to swallow 2nds on the main course...

    I just digested a new headset. I guess it's time to start saving up for a new console. I just wish it tasted better than fast food.
