    Xbox one X Shutting Down During Boss Fight


    I need help here, i have a Xbox one X playing Borderlands 3 on the new DLC bounty of blood and im farming the last boss for new equipment, anyway, i can farm for about 30minutes then my xbox shuts off with no warning,
    no fan spin up or anything , i boot the xbox back up and it mentions "Overheating".... This is impossible as i am in a well ventilated area on my worktop with fans behind the xbox to blow away the hot air from the exhaust, i tried to contact Xbox but got no
    luck even asking them to call me back(which spat a error at me and "try again later" nonsense). Unfortunetly my warranty ran out last year so i cant exactly take it back.

    Till problem is sorted i gave up trying to fight last boss cos its a pain loading game up everytime

    Hopefully try giving the vent a clean and more breathing
    I opend it up ealeir in the week, it was spotless and while it was in bits i changed the thermal paste sice it was rock hard, and i still get the same issue

    i have exact same problem and only does it when i fight the very last boss on bounty of blood! I turned my one x off for 4 hours turned it bk on went straight to fight boss an boom switches off again only to say cos it overheated.....definately a problem
    caused due to dlc cos its fine as long as i dont go fight the last boss
