    Xbox One X - Scorpio unresponsive-ness to commands


    Received my Xbox One X yesterday. Upgrading from a 2Tb S. My Kinect USB and cables all moved to the new console. Performed a full setup.

    I then played Disneyland Adventures with the kid. Had no issues. But when I tried to shut down "Hey Cortana, turn off" or "Hey Cortana, go to sleep" nothing.

    Today, I turn it on. All day all we did was watch TV with it. Tried going back to Disneyland Adventures. It was oddly stuck on the loading screen where I load which profile I want to play with (via an Xbox tile). Figured it was the game so I went to
    home, hit start and closed out.

    But all day this thing is acting sluggish. Boots take longer than S, loading the TV takes longer than the S. On my S I used the "Xbox" commands as Cortana was a huge letdown but I was told by Twitter Xbox Support that certain commands were restricted to
    Cortana (all I use are "on" "turn off" "watch CNN" "volume up/down"). Now I can't even get Cortana to consistently recognize these commands. Tonight I was met with a flurry of "I don't understands" but the damned thing didn't even look like it was taking
    what I was saying. Tried being close/far, tried enunciation, even tried redoing the calibration hoping that would work. Seriously, I just want to be able to shout Xbox on from across the room and listen to TV while I work. Then be able to shout Xbox Turn
    off from across the same room and have it turn stuff off.

    It's not the room. It's not the cables/Kinect. Only thing that's changed is the system.

    What gives? Am I the only one noticing I paid $500 for something that's slower and less effective than my S?

    Concerns about the reported problems about the Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition.

    I just purchased an Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition off of Amazon and I'm concerned about the failure rate, heat, fan noise and other problems with Scorpio Xbox One Xs by reading the forums off of Xbox.com and others. I haven't opened up the retail box
    yet. Should I return it and get an regular Xbox One X or an 1-2 TB Xbox One S?

    So how's your Project Scorpio Xbox One X doing?

    Is everyone's XBox One X so slow and clunky?

    I have an Xbox One X, not the Xbox One X Scorpio edition and mine isn't slow or clunky. I think they made so adjustments to the Xbox One X after the Scorpio edition came out.

    I believe it was "Xbox" or whatever the deafault was for the Xbox One X Scorpio Edition, but then I changed it to Project Scorpio.

    Controller becoming unresponsive

    Same issue here just the one x controller has the issue, my elite and other controller seem to work fine.
    So for sure the controller played find for multiple hours with old controller but as soon as I turn one the project scorpio controller start having issues. It will become unresponsive within a few minutes, 8f i leave it alone starts responding again after
    a few minutes but become unresponsive if I try to use it. Any update if this will be fixible by patch? Or do I need to request replacement.
