Xbox one X scorpio stops working after some time.

Recently my Xbox has gotten so slow to the point where every shut down has to be a forced shut down. It always works just fine at the start but slower starts to loose performance. Load times gets slower, xbox tiles stop loading, dash board moves incredibly
slow and the home button crashes and never shows. Here's the list of things I've tried. Cleared mac address, cleared temporary files, factory reset the console. Reinstalled the system OS with a forced USB update. Ran the console with internal hard drive disconnected.
Opened up and cleaned out the heat sink completely (console stay is super ventilated area). I am not part of the preview program. Its also not possible for it to be damage by anything including liquids or being dropped. I could only think its a software issue
with how recent and abrupt the problems started to occur. I have no idea what to do at this point or even what my options are. I've never had console issues before but now its become a real burden, only allowing to play one hour at a time before i need to
unplug it to let it hard reset.

I did find the solution. After just being fed up and dismantling it for fun I came across the real issue. After removing the copper plate on the CPU the thermal paste was dried and just dust and stones transferring no heat at all. The reason I couldn't
figure it out before is because the heat sensor is foolishly location on the fan. The heat never made it that far so the console never knew. After following some videos on thermal paste replacement my system now runs better then when I first got it. Xbox wanted
$350 to repair it when I was able to do it for free having the tools and paste already, a no more then $20 set. So check your thermal paste, there's lots of video guides on it. Huge life saver

I have an Xbox One X, not the Xbox One X Scorpio edition and mine isn't slow or clunky. I think they made so adjustments to the Xbox One X after the Scorpio edition came out.

Still regularly use my 360 but had been contemplating upgrading to a One for some time.

Purchasing any electronic item on Day One runs the same risk, this is not unique to the Xbox One X release - Prices drop after release, there are limited time specials offered, or a newer model comes out down the road.

Same goes for automobiles.

The Scorpio edition is a limited edition console. No more will be made of that edition. Any user If you want an Xbox One X with PUBG, it won't say Project Scorpio on it.

Any user currently looking for a Project Scorpio edition console one month after release will most likely be paying a higher price for it than what it originally sold for.
