Xbox One X Scorpio Repair - Lost Collectable Retail Packaging

Hi,

My Xbox One X Scorpio Edition had a fault and I sent it off in original packaging for repair.

When it came back it came back brown-boxed.

So what happened to my collectable console packaging? How can i get a replacement?

Checking today on eBay for secondhand Xbox One X's the difference in price between second hand standard edition and Scorpio editions of the One X, its about £125.

I chatted with online support and they basically told me that there's nothing they are prepared to do about this.

To me this is totally unacceptable as it puts me majorly out of pocket.

Concerns about the reported problems about the Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition.

I just purchased an Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition off of Amazon and I'm concerned about the failure rate, heat, fan noise and other problems with Scorpio Xbox One Xs by reading the forums off of Xbox.com and others. I haven't opened up the retail box
yet. Should I return it and get an regular Xbox One X or an 1-2 TB Xbox One S?

So how's your Project Scorpio Xbox One X doing?

Nothing but problems with my Xbox one x scorpio since day of release. Benn for repair no change still awful.

We definitely understand the frustration and concern regarding your Xbox One X Scorpio Edition console packaging.

However, we're afraid as you'll see on our guide on how to pack your Xbox console for shipping it is stated
that the shipping box you use will not be returned to you.

If you already reached out to chat support regarding your shipping box and were told that the investigating team would not be able to send a replacement box, we're afraid that would be the case.

As this was faulty hardware and as you did not provide any alternative packaging, it was the only packaging available that I could use to return the faulty Xbox One X.

I have now lost out financially because of faulty hardware that I was sold, which as you are aware in not acceptable in the UK.

I am offering you the opportunity to make reparations and to be honest I'm very surprised you haven't embraced this with open arms.
