Concerns about the reported problems about the Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition.

I just purchased an Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition off of Amazon and I'm concerned about the failure rate, heat, fan noise and other problems with Scorpio Xbox One Xs by reading the forums off of Xbox.com and others. I haven't opened up the retail box
yet. Should I return it and get an regular Xbox One X or an 1-2 TB Xbox One S?

So how's your Project Scorpio Xbox One X doing?

 

I’m picking mine up in the store. They said they have them already, but wouldn’t let me buy it early.

 

A couple of friends here in the U.K. got their shipping emails yesterday from Amazon but I know Amazon in the U.S. is cancelling a fair few pre orders for some reason.

The way most couriers work is that they'll pick the consoles up tomorrow & store them until it's time for them to be delivered next week so chances are you'll get your tracking info tomorrow or over the weekend.

 

pre-ordered with Shopto and got nothing yet.

Not really expecting anything until Friday/Saturday as they use DPD next day delivery.

 

No shipping details yet but a web chat with Amazon UK yesterday confirmed it will be delivered on Tuesday.

 

ShopTo are pretty reliable when it comes to delivering things on time,well they used to be.Not used them in ages as their prices are worse than GAME's a lot of the time now.

Best bet would be to use their online chat thingy on their site & ask them.

 

Got mine ordered from microsoft but no news yet

 

Ordered mine from Microsoft but no info up to now. My order confirmation said, "available: Monday, Nov 6, 2017" so I guess that'll pretty much be the day it'll be sent. I do hope I get some decent tracking info since I need to plan a day off of work.

 

For the past several days, I've been trying to contact Microsoft and xbox support staff on this matter and they either won't or can't give me an exact shipping date. I have yet to be charged for my order or receive a tracking number. Lets hope something
happens or changes today because I will be very unhappy if I receive it after the 7th.

 

Pre-ordered mine direct from Microsoft (UK) in August, the day after it was officially announced.

No order status updates as yet.

 

I preordered mine through game stop. Hopefully going to be able to go there and get it at a midnight launch.

 

Also ordered from the MS Site on the day of the announcement - no movement on the pre-order yet, I expect to be charged tomorrow for shipping over the weekend

 

The best reply from I think in Australian? girl or women. My dad ordered mine from jb hi fi and he's given me the receipt so I can pick it up after school xD (I might pull a sickie so I can collect it at 9 a.m. and play it at 10 a.m. .... jk)
