    xbox one x scorpio edition - Discs won't load


    For a while now some of my game discs won't load in the xbox one x disc drive. I put the disc in, and the moters pull the disc in, but never
    seat the disc. Not sure how to explain it but to me it seems like the the disc doesn't go in all the way. I can't tell xbox doesn't try to seek or spin the disc. Doesn't get that far.

    Normal I can hear the drive laser starting to seek for files. This never happens.

    Don't know if it matters it was a scorpio edition.

    I noticed this problem mostly when trying to play Rush: A Disney-Pixar Adventure.

    Today can't get it working with a new BD-R Blu-ray I just burned with some home movies. Frustrated

    Tried the hard power cycle for 5 mins no power.

    I probably have tried 25+ times with both Rush game and the BD-R disc and nothing is working.

    Now I try another game disc that has worked in the past but now doesn't work.

    Any idea or is my disc drive crapped out?

    Is everyone's XBox One X so slow and clunky?

    I have an Xbox One X, not the Xbox One X Scorpio edition and mine isn't slow or clunky. I think they made so adjustments to the Xbox One X after the Scorpio edition came out.

    Hi there,

    Purchasing any electronic item on Day One runs the same risk, this is not unique to the Xbox One X release - Prices drop after release, there are limited time specials offered, or a newer model comes out down the road.

    Same goes for automobiles.

    The Scorpio edition is a limited edition console. No more will be made of that edition. Any user If you want an Xbox One X with PUBG, it won't say Project Scorpio on it.

    Any user currently looking for a Project Scorpio edition console one month after release will most likely be paying a higher price for it than what it originally sold for.

    I believe it was "Xbox" or whatever the deafault was for the Xbox One X Scorpio Edition, but then I changed it to Project Scorpio.

    I have 3 xbox one consoles the 500gb day one edition a 1TB one and the Xbox one X project scorpio edition.

    I also have 3 xbox 360 console 1 the halo reach console and the other 2 are the elite consoles. One of them the disc try dose not work.
