Xbox One X saved game problem. Keep having to delete local and resync

Hey dude,

So if it was the HDD then none of your games would work that sync seems like a connection issue, are you using a LAN or wifi connection?

Another option could be to remove your profile and then load it on again, sometimes it fixes bugs like this.

Just a side note sometimes it is better to contact xbox support directly on https://support.xbox.com/contact-us if you are worried and need a quicker response time, they might
have a flow that could fix it.

But that sync issue is normally a connection issue and that is why the data becomes corrupted.

Sorry to hear it. I see you've already factory reset the console. Please try turning it off and unplug it for 5 minutes. During this time unplug your modem/router for at least 60 seconds.

If that doesn't work then you can try using an Ethernet cable if you aren't already or check to see if your modem/router needs an update or replacement

Hi I'm still having problems with xbox one. Now some of games will not load up, and then if they do they just crash the console. What I'm thinking is that I may have corrupt saved data and it's stored in the cloud so keeps resyncing with games I try to play again after a full reset or after deleting local saved games. I want to try getting xbox series x to see if it transfers over to there as well. Is there anyway this problem can be sorted out. Any help would be much appreciated.

So I have been having the same problem and i deleted my local saves and hard reset my xbox one. Then just started the game back up and it resynced my saves from the cloud and now has been working fine.

Step 6: Clear the local save and resync with the cloud

It’s possible that the local save for your game has become corrupted. If so, deleting the local save and re-syncing with the cloud might correct the problem.

First, delete the local save:

1. Press the Xbox button
    to open the guide and then select My games & apps >
   See all > Games.
2. Highlight the game title, and then press the
   Menu button  on your controller.
3. Select Manage game & add-ons >
   Saved data.
4. Select Delete all to remove the local save of this game.
   
5. Select Delete all again to confirm.
   

After you delete the local save, restart your Xbox One console:

1. Press and hold the Xbox button
    in the center of your Xbox One controller to open the Power Center.
2. Select Restart console.
3. Select Restart.

After you restart your Xbox One console, re-sync your saved games to the cloud. Your saved games are automatically stored in the cloud while you’re connected to Xbox Live.

Try playing the game again to see if re-syncing with the cloud corrected the game problem.
