    Xbox One X/S Avatar games, features, social rooms etc.


    Remember the days of Xbox 360 when avatars were a key feature to socialize and express ourselves? We had games like A World of Keflings, Full House of Poker, Doritos Crash Course & other avatar indie games etc. They even had a Avatar Kinect chat but only for those w/ Kinect. I know that they brought back new avatars to Xbox One as a feature but just for profile personalization. What if on Xbox One Series X/S that they brought back Avatar social features & games? What if they even made an open world avatar game? On a side note I also feel like there’s a lack of open world games out there. I know there are reasons for the declining of Xbox Avatar features and factors they would have to put in to bring them like: demand of the community, how many users would actually play those games, etc. I think it would be a cool feature and to continue what they couldn’t do with the engine back then of Xbox 360. Thoughts?

    Xbox One Update Suggestions: Avatars, Custom Art, and Hangout!

    I would like the Avatar Store back and Xbox 1 to have all the stuff that Xbox 360 Avatar Editor has. I also like avatars to be on the Friends tab rather than be locked up in some Windows 8 Avatar app. Xbox 360's Social tab incorporates your avatar. And make
    a chatpad rather than using a U-S-B--k-e-y-b-o-a-r-d or smartglass. Thank goodness avatars was at least a Day One Xbox Live Feature on Xbox 1. They represent users of the Xbox Live service to have a 3D avatar rather than just a 2D gamer picture and text.

    Why won’t my Xbox series X show me my new Xbox 360 avatar

    Hi Salam,

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I understand that you have questions regarding your Avatar and why it's not showing on your Xbox series X.

    Starting on January 9, 2025, players will no longer be able to access their Xbox Avatars or any purchased avatar items. This means avatars will not be visible on your profile page on Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One consoles. This is because Xbox Avatar Editor app is no longer be available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows devices.

    However, this change will not affect Xbox Original Avatars and how they appear on Xbox 360 consoles or Xbox 360 games that feature Xbox Original Avatars.

    How to Delete my Avatar on Xbox Avatar Editor

    The Xbox Series X avatar editor is the same as the Xbox One, so the Xbox One instructions should work for the Series X|S.

    Liking the new friends section

    Just finished downloading it, it's Thursday 10:05 pm for me.

    What happened to avatars though? I like how they added a Friends tap to the Dashboard. It's kind of like the SOCIAL tab on Xbox 360's Dashboard but of course, it's missing avatars and that Windows 8 style UI really sticks out. If you want to see you and
    your friends avatars you have to go to the Avatar App on the Dashboard. But it's good they added another tab.

    Now all I'm waiting for is Voice Messaging "Xbox Live Feature" and Change the Dash Background "Xbox Live Feature.

    A HDR game list for Xbox One S?

    any game you find that is HDR on the Xbox One X is also HDR on the Xbox One S
    Is that official?

    HDR is an "Xbox One X Enhanced" feature for those games, that's official words.

    For example Rise of the Tomb Raider, NO HDR on Xbox One S.
