    Xbox One X restarts when I turn it back on


    In the last few days my xbox one X will not turn on by switching the controller on, so I have to manually press the button on the xbox but it still doesn't do anything on the first button click. On the second click it does turn on, but it goes through the xbox intro sequence as if I've just restarted it.

    I am not doing anything differently when I switch it off (via the controller) so I don't know what is causing this issue, any help would be appreciated!

    For this issue I recommend performing a reset by keeping your games and apps. Also please check if the Xbox and The controller have the latest firmware version.

    Try restarting your console, or turning it off and back on. Maybe try doing an update to the game. If you are on an Xbox One, it will be worse. If its a One X, it might be good.

    I have an Xbox One X downstairs and my One S Is upstairs as a media player. Every now and then if I shut off the X and go upstairs and turn on the S it won't quite grab on to live without a restart. As others said, just a restart, odds are good you are
    okay.

    When I am connected to Xbox Live and I decide to turn off my Xbox and turn it back on, then I am disconnected from Xbox Live. Is there a way to stay connected to Xbox Live permanently even if I turn off my Xbox. For instance when my Xbox downloaded an update,
