XBOX One X repair/warranty

Hi,

My Xbox One X was not able to play some games. I sent my Xbox to Germany from Finland. It has reached the service centre. When I ordered the service, I choose "other" as an option, will that be a problem? Do they check everything by themselves and do they
call/email the customer if they can't find the issues?

Also, in what cases do they send a newer one? or is it that they will send a Microsoft repaired console?

Like, I had claimed Bose soundsport wireless warranty and they sent me a newer one in original packing with the seal intact. Also, in that one, I just sent the box with no accessories. I am not sure how Microsoft deals with this situation.

Hi Thee,

If your console is an Xbox one and is in warranty, you can try and get a repair if the above suggestions do not work. If it is out of warranty then we no longer support repairs for out of warranty Xbox 360 or Xbox one. If it is an Xbox one S, X you can still
get an out of warranty repair. You can set these up at
device support.

Thank you for keeping us updated. Do you have an original Xbox One, a Xbox One S or Xbox One X? If you own a Xbox One S or X, you can still have a repair set up when the console is out of warranty. Keep in mind, a Xbox One S or X that is out of warranty
has a fee that must be paid in order to be repaired. The original Xbox One is not able to be repaired if it is out of warranty. You can contact the
Xbox Support Team if you are having issues with setting up a repair for an out of warranty Xbox One S or X. We will provide steps on how to contact the support team. We hope this

Return is kind of up in the air at the moment due to covid. Normally in my experience it has been a month and I always received a 1month Xbox Live Card with return. You would need to speak with someone in support if you need more information. I know the
phones are crazy at the moment but just hang in there. Someone will pick up to assist you if you need it.

I mean if they fix my own Xbox by repair, but I understand that they will send a refurbished console. How long does it take for them to send you a new refurbished one?

Then, I can use the tracking.

Is there anyway I can try to contact them?

Hello, not sure what your trying to have repaired, but it will be a refurbished console nothing brand new. IF its not covered under warranty youll have to pay for it. No they wont give you a phone call, for any reason if they need to contact you it will
be through email.
