    Xbox One X - Recorded clips are only a couple of seconds long.


    Whenever I record a clip on my Xbox One X,, it says the clip is 22 seconds long on my dashboard, but they are only about 1 or 2 seconds when I view them.

    My current settings are for 30 second clips, at 4K HDR. They are currently saved to my internal drive, which is 19% full.

    I don't save a lot of clips, so I've only noticed this for the last couple of weeks.

    Does anybody have any idea why this is happening?

    Yes as I stated on my previous post its a known issue that is currently being resolved in one of the next system updates.

    Yes the default setting is 30 seconds as this is one the most popular option and two as stated it uses less storage than say a 5 minute clip.

    I have had the same issue for months and months now, first with the original xbox and now with a brand new xbox one x. This is a common issue amongst my friends and the xbox community and there doesn’t seem to be a fix for it! Its also important to note
    this issue seems to only happen with Modern Warfare. Going to capture settings and messing with all the options does not fix anything, ive tried everything. I believe the issue has to do with poor optimization between COD and Xbox. Hope to see Xbox tackle
    this issue soon, ive lost an immense amount of potential content because of this.

    Hi there this is a known issue that will hopefully be resolved in the next update. Hopefully the update drops soon. Hope you are safe and well in these crazy times.

    Yes modern warfare/warzone are having the same issue on their end. It is also an issue on microsofts end as its not only cod having issues but multiple games as its the system not the game (obviously as stated earlier cod is the exception). It is being
    worked on and hopefully a fix for it will be out in the next update.
