    Xbox One X RANDOMLY TURNING OFF


    I’ve had my Xbox One X since day one, and it has worked fine until today. However this morning as I was watching a show using an app, my entire console crashed and turned off. This has since happened many times while using different games and apps, and even
    while sitting at dashboard. Seems like a hardware power issue. HELP!

    I have had the same issue. Every time i try to load a game it starts the splash screen and then it turns off. and so much that i cannot use the controller to turn in back on.

    The problem is happening when I first start the xbox one x after it has been off overnight or during the day . I will play for a few hours, properly shut unit off and when I come back several hours later and turn it on from either the controller or the
    console, it comes on briefly and then shuts back off. when I press the button again, it starts and comes on as if the power had been disconnected (cold boot screen comes up if that is what it is called). It is not an overheat issue. My controller is plugged
    into the unit and has been also disconnecting. Not sure if either are related.

    yeah that sounds like a possibility. I just returned it to amazon, done messing with it. I get that this kind of thing happens with new consoles but still, this is unacceptable
