Xbox One X Randomly Disconnecting From WiFi

I am having so much trouble staying connected to Xbox Live on my Xbox One X. I have also tried just about everything and it has actually become virtually unplayable since I only use my Xbox for online gaming. I am randomly disconnected regardless of what
activity I am doing (sitting at homescreen, in multiplayer lobby, browsing store, etc.) I have gone through the troubleshooting steps laid out by Xbox. Power cycled both Xbox and modem, contacted ISP (no other devices are affected on the network), port forwarding,
DMZ, Instant-On turned off, plugged directly into wall socket, and reset the console to factory settings. Like I said before, it has gotten worse. Before it was once or twice a night, no I cannot stay connected for more than 10 minutes making effectively turning
my $500 console into a glorified paperweight. I can’t seem to make any progress in finding a solution. Have been a hardcore Xbox and Microsoft fan since the original Xbox and was so excited to move up to the One X and use it to its full potential but am so
let down and have zero enjoyment in my experience with it thus far. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's not just with the X. I have a One S and wifi just randomly disconnects and no other device on network has this problem. I have reported it many times but no update to fix it yet.

I only have the one home network. Are you suggesting I connect to a network outside my home?

It can be good signal strength but wifi will always be imperfect. Random drops, low performance is just part of it. Since you are on a separate floor, I do suggest getting a wifi extender, I used to run a Netgear Extender but now have google home mesh
system since I live in a two story house and have lots of dead zones.

Why would my wifi tests be strong though? I am on a separate floor from the modem and the signal strength is 90+ with good upload/download etc.

If it shows an available hotspot, you wouldn't be on that persons network, the ISP is giving you guest access. Depending on the data plan you have on your cellphone, you could create a hotspot that way. I just wouldn't want you to run into an overage
in use of data.
