I was expecting it to cost around $900 NZ/Australian. But it's gonna be selling for AU$649 and NZ$749.

The console looks cute and slim, and it's smaller than the Xbox One S. Xbox One X is a great name for the console! And it's specs blow PS4 Pro out of the water. The hardware components are superior to it. Microsoft gets to pie in the face Sony fans who have
been bashing Xbox about it's lower specs, resolution, graphics. And Xbox One X doesn't look like a subway stacked sandwich, something which the competition is. X is best. Xbox One X is what Phil Spencer quoted the most powerful console.

Be proud to be an Xbox fanboy or fangirl. Well done Microsoft.

I have an Xbox One X console I got last year. Microsoft also has one shop in NZ too, in Auckland.

I wouldn't recommend "purchasing" an extended warranty. NZ and Australia have strict consumer legislation rights which Microsoft Australia and Microsoft NZ know about and are bound by. My Xbox 360 slim console I got late 2010 is still working perfectly.
I do have a day one edition Xbox One console which I got November 2013 and that too is working fine still, but am selling it and keeping my 360 and Xbox One X. You get the full 12 month warranty as standard. You are paying a premium price for it, so you should
get a several years joy from it. Check your local retail stores near you, some of them should offer extended warranties on it. Ask yourself if it's really worth paying airfares/transport to Sydney and back and the extended warranty price.

Xbox One X has excellent Dolby Atmos audio technology, something which the competition console doesn't have. It's better than even Dolby Digital 7.1 Surround Sound. I played a few sample clips with my Turtle Beach 500X using this technology from my X console,
and it was beautiful and pure bliss.

Turtle Beach has a new headset for Xbox One X. Its the Stealth 700X I believe. Mightyape NZ is selling it for NZ$238 compared with my pair of 500x which Turtle Beach has stopped manufacturing and will sell out soon if not already, which is for NZ$399 and
the 800x which I don't like because it doesn't have a boom mic, the charging technique, is NZ$499 RRP. So the 700x represents value for money well bringing excellent Dolby Atmos and its a wireless headset and can use it for chat.

However Turtle Beach makes their headsets out of cheap plastic which easily cracks after a few months of use. All it needs is the tiniest bump and subatomic cracks develop which after weeks, develop to larger cracks which become
obvious. I've had to replace free of charge my turtle beach headsets several times. So far my 500x is working fine but they may need duct tape soon. Or I could get the 700x if worse comes to worse. I'm just glad that turtle beach is making these types of headsets
cheaper than paying near NZ/AU$400 or $500.

Final Fantasy XV on Xbox One X looks like a trillion dollars. No more blurry and no jaggies. Great textures too. Xbox One X has a large library of Xbox One X Enhanced games (over 100). Console shutdowns and boot ups are 3x faster than any other Xbox One
model. And the UI is like 2x faster than any other Xbox One model too. I don't need a 4k TV. A 4k TV is not mandatory. It's like with PC gaming. The ultra, max, and high graphics settings AREN'T reserved for 4k screens. They're available to 1080p screens too.
And I like the QUALITY of the graphics too on Xbox One X.
