XBox One X "problems with the network" messages

For months now I've been getting "problems with the network" type error messages and I have no idea if it's the hardware itself. I'm also having a graphics issue while playing Neverwinter, but that is probably unrelated. I'll include the details for that
as well, just in case.

When I've gotten them:

Streaming Netflix, Hulu, etc. - May disconnect from service, random slowdowns, loading issues, video quality downgrades

Playing games (Battlefield 1, Neverwinter, and others) that need to reach an online server or service - May drop game, disconnect, delays in starting, etc.

Streaming from my XBox to my PC (using the play from console option in Win 10 XBox app) - Delays in inputs, streaming/video quality constantly fluctuates (downgrades then returns to very high)

Network setup:

Tried XBox One X both wired and wirelessly

Cable broadband over 250mbps and test ok much of the time. When it doesn't and can't connect to an outside service, that's obviously the ISP.

PC to XBox One X, tried with PC and XBox both wired into the same physical switch, with PC wired and Xbox wireless, and with both wireless.

Hardware:

PC is fairly new, 8700k with 1080 ti video card

XBox One X has been having these issues for a while

The network is a combination of a Linksys gigabit switch (Xbox currently connected to), Linksys mesh network (PC currently wired to one of the nodes, so consider it currently wireless), wireless mesh network and wired devices connect through a switch to
hardware firewall pc running pfSense which is connected to the cable modem.

Testing:

speedtest.net, fast.com when issues occur and is related to external connection

xbox one x - network connectivity tests when issues occur. I don't recall any of these failing, they always seem to pass

when streaming to pc - app network connectivity tests show ok, very high quality after the issue occurs.

The problem itself seems intermittent but might increase the longer I've been using the system. I haven't been keeping a good eye on that aspect.

Related to Neverwinter, after an extended period of time the game starts turning off more and more of the effects. Then have to log out, quit the game from the home screen, and then restart it. Given this seems to temporarily resolve the issue, I'm guessing
this one is related to the game itself.

Thanks for reaching out to us here on the forums with this situation. I understand you're having multiple network related issues. I recommend safely powering down the console and all network equipment (modem and/or router) and then unplugging them from the
power source for at least five minutes. Once the time has passed connect the router/modem first and allow it to fully power back up before connecting the PC or Console and trying again.

Are you experiencing the issue on Xbox 360, Xbox One, or Series X|S? Is there any specific error code/message? There have been a lot of reports related to backwards compatability issues recently.

We would be more than glad to help out with the connectivity problems that you are running into. When you are connected to your network, Have you tested your network to see if there is any error messages, Nat issues, or low wireless signal to the console?
