    Xbox One X powers on but display does not


    My Xbox One X is less than a year old. Yesterday I used it with no problem as usual with HDMI to my Samsung TV (2018). Today when I power up, power button lights up but screen is says 'No Signal'. I've unplugged all Xbox cables and power and re-plugged them.
    Still 'No Signal' on power-up. I've done a hard boot, still 'No Signal'. TV works with my cable provider (Spectrum). I don't know how to proceed.

    WIERD! I just changed from HDMI 1 to HDMI 2 and now it works. I can't explain why this would matter, but I noticed that HDMI had disappeared from my Samsung menu choices. So I tried a different slot. WIERD.

    Thanks for coming to the forums with your issue with the console showing no picture. You can try out this troubleshooting guide for

    blank screen when powered on    . Also make sure you have the console plugged directly into a wall outlet.

    Thanks Brad... I just updated my question, noting that I changed my HDMI slot and now I have Xbox back online. I can't explain what happened. But thank you for offering to assist.

    Sorry to hear you are running into these issues with the Xbox One console. When you power on the console, does the light turn on and stay on with no display, turn on and then turn back off, or does the light not turn on at all?
