    Xbox One X power supply problem


    There has been a specific problem with the xbox one x since its debut about its power supply. The problem is that when somone turns on their console, 5-10 seconds later it turns off on its own. Multiple vidoes and posts adress the issue and xbox support
    can never solve the problem. Ive seen videos with over a million views and posts with 7000 people who have the same problem. None of these problems were resolved and all support give the same solutions and usually tell the person they need a repair in their
    power supply. This should not be an issue since people who have had their console for days or months have been having this problem. I believe this it at the fault of the manufacturers and it should not be forced upon people to have to repair their xbox over
    a faulty power supply. I would like to hear others opinions because this is a big issue that many people seem to have as well.

    Xbox One not staying on

    Do you have a Xbox One with external power supply or an Xbox One S or X with internal power supply?

    I say that because in the first case you can try another power supply (ask to a friend if possible) to see if this fix the problem.

    I know that the original Xbox One has an external power supply. But my Xbox One X has an internal power supply.

    This can usually be solves by resetting the surge protection in the power supply. Unplug the console and power supply (if you have an original Xbox one) for 10 seconds and then plug it back in. If that does not fix this problem your power supply (internal
    or external) may need repairs.
