Xbox One X Power issues on brand new consoles and more!!!

It appears that more and more people are purchasing faulty Xbox One X consoles. I didn't believe it until it happened to me. I even waited a couple of months before making my purchase of the hyped up most powerful gaming console ever created. I was so excited.
I did everything Microsoft recommended to get the most out of my brand new Xbox One X console. First I preped my area for placement to make sure that I had enough room for the console itself to breathe and allow for plenty of ventilation. Second I made sure
to keep my console away from any heat sources and direct sunlight. Third I made sure to keep my bedroom were I planned to have long gaming sessions at no higher than 70° fahrenheit. 4th I made sure to use all provided cables that came in the box with my console
and made sure that all cables were inserted fully and secured. I plugged the provided power cord directly into the wall outlet and made sure that it was all good. 5th Everything seemed to be going okay with the installation of my brand new Xbox One X console.
Up until a strong storm came. But the Xbox One X console has built in power supply with surge protection right? Yes of course. But does it have under voltage regulation? I think not. This is were I find with the great power of the Xbox One X comes great responsibility.
You see the console itself is very sensitive to voltage changes. This I have noticed causes extra unwanted heat to build up in the console. Almost similar to having a short in a wire for example. In long gaming sessions no gamer wants that. An even longer
story made short. When the strong passing storm came through. It caused major power fluctuations in the ac power. Ultimately causing the Xbox One X console to overheat and fry the southbrige chip inside on the bord. I get power momentarily then my console
quickly looses power. Luckily I am still under warranty. But this kind of thing is a headache to deal with. I kinda feel like the Xbox One X console was rushed upon release. Im really hoping that Microsoft learns from their mistakes in the near future. Not
everyone has $500 to just throw away like that. Some people take yearsto save money up for a gaming console like that. Ever since the release of the 360 ive been a big xbox fan. But if I go as far as purchasing a brand new xbox one x console just for it to
fail me and do the same exact thing. Im done with Xbox altogether. A loyal customer gone. I know that I dont want that. I just want things to work as they are supposed to. That way I can continue my gaming and having fun as it was ment to be. Thanks for all

constant freezing

I have the same problem, and even on a brand-new Xbox One X.

Hdr washed out colors and dimmer during hdr content

Having the same issues as well with my brand new Xbox One X and TCL 55P605. Very disappointed to see so many others having the issue and no acknowledgement from Microsoft.

My local Gamestop does not do returns or offeres any kind of in-store warranty. That was the first thing that I checked. Once you are rung up its too late. I wont be making any major purchases like bundles or systems from them again. So far I still have
it. No luck getting a hard reset to work. Power wont stay on long enough to do anything. Console turns on when you press the power button. Just not long enough to load up before it goes into protect and shuts off. Since its still under warranty I cant get
it repaired locally. I already talked to Xbox support and they told me that I have to wait until my warranty expires before I can do that or have it removed from my account. Ultimately im just going to have to purchase a brand new xbox one x system altogether
and give up on this one.

A brand new console, 4 times more powerful compared to Xbox One X. It will run all Xbox One games and most Xbox 360 and original Xbox games.

Are new consoles that much more powerful than a refurbished? My xbox is an "X", my understanding that a refurbished X Box was just one traded in and wiped. Perhaps the refurbished has a design flaw, in which case I can either exchange it or upgrade
to an a brand new X box. I'll do that, if you think it will work.
