XBOX ONE X - Power button, Cache issue, controller issues.

XBOX ONE X - Controllers not turning xbox on randomly. Full charge on all 3 controllers. Also have to push power button 2 times to turn it on via console button and it acts as if I had cleared cache and I did not. Tried resetting to factory, no joy. This
started 2 weeks ago but the controllers often had random disconnecting issues since day one. Has latest update, I verified this.

Unlike Xbox 360, the Xbox One does not have a menu option to clear cache on the console. Instead, follow these steps to clear cache on an Xbox One:

Press and hold the power button on the front of the console until it powers down completely.

Unplug the power cable from the back of the console so that the power brick in not connected to the console.

Press the power button on the console three or four times. This will ensure that any remaining power in the battery is drained, clearing the cache on the console.

Plug the power cable back into the console.

Wait for the light on the power brick to change from white to orange.

Turn on the console using the power button.

et a weird behavior on your xbox one is to clear the cache and see if that solves the problem.Click to expand...

I doubt they built up a large cache in such a short time period.

I have same issue. I just got this new Xbox One X Gear Of War edition and this is 3 time is happening. I have to reset the system by pressing the man power button and reconnect the controller. I never had this issue with my old Xbox One X system. Any fixing
for that?

Sorry to hear about the controller issue! Let's start with a power cycle to clear the system cache. Try the steps below to power cycle your Xbox One console:

Press and hold the power button on the Xbox One console for 10 seconds.
Once the unit is powered off, unplug the power cable from the Xbox One and let it sit for 5 minutes.
Plug the power back into the unit and power the console on.

Try those steps and let us know if that helps out with the controller issue!

I just got an Xbox One X yesterday and experiencing the same issue. In addition, my controller won’t power on when pressing the home button. I also tried the methods Leslie suggested and no luck.

Yes it is the X buttton on my controller. I am not having power issues. It is simply the X button that is unresponsive. My A, B, and Y button work, as does the rest of the controller. the problem is only the X button. I am out of warranty so im basically
