  1. Xbox One X passing 3D signal when 3D is unselected in Video Settings

I have A JVC DLA-RS440 4k projector. This projector is capable of projecting 3D images. Like most projectors, this projector has a keystone setting that allows you to digitally adjust the image displayed so it fits the screen properly if your projector can
not be perfectly perpendicular to the wall it's projecting on.

Now, like most projectors, the keystones adjustments are turned off when a 3D signal is received from a source device. I have tested a ps3, ps4 pro, and a new Sony 4k bluray player (800 model) and my JVC projector works great (no 3D used). With the Xbox
One X, I have a small issue. Even after going to the display settings in the Xbox menu and turning off the 3D option, the Xbox still passes some sort of 3D signal to the projector. How do I know this? I know because my keystone and other adjustments to make
a perfect projected image are all turned off because the JVC senses a 3D signal. Like I said above, no other piece of equipment I have or tested has caused the same issue.

So I ask for some help from any Xbox tech out there, why is the Xbox passing a 3D signal when in the settings menu 3d is unselected ? I would really like to enjoy my games and such with the settings prepared. Instead, I get a skewed image since all my adjustments
    are turned off.

Thanks for your time and help!

    :)

3D not working on my Xbox One

Hi, my Xbox One isn't displaying 3D. When I enable 3D in the settings my TV goes black and displays the message "No video signal".

The thing is, I have a 3D TV and I'm using an HDMI 1.4 High Speed cable. I've been using the same set-up for my Xbox 360, which played 3D stuff without a hitch.

Because the 3D isn't working, I can't watch my 3D Blu-Rays on my Xbox One.

Xbox One X Blu Ray Issues

    Hi,

This is still a problem for me, but...thx to another member on a different thread I've found a workaround. There's still an issue that exists on the Xbox One X that needs attention and resolution, but at least there is a workaround.

So to recap, playing 3D BluRay discs on the Xbox One X causes the TV to show a loss of signal, like the Xbox One X is no longer outputting an HDMI signal. Very occasionally if I hard reboot the console with the disc still inside and then immediately
play the disc on boot, it works, and the disc plays in 3D, but most of the time not. 3D BluRays plays on the same TV with my One S connected no problem for me, so the issue seems to be with the One X only.

Now for the workaround, which will hopefully lead to the engineers finding and resolving the root cause of the problem also. If I set my Xbox One X, in the Display settings, to 1080p output (I still have the "Allow 4K" and "Allow HDR" checkboxes checked) the
TV switches from 4K 2160p to 1080p display mode as expected. When the Xbox One X is set to 1080p resolution all 3D BluRay discs that I have tried play in 3D first time, without problem. Switching the Xbox One X back to 4K 2160p output, the TV switches back
to 2160p as expected. However now when I try to play 3D BluRay discs, the same issue is back, in that as soon as the Xbox One X tries to set the TV to 3D Move, I get a loss of HDMI signal?

I've no idea is this is an issue specific to the combination of the Xbox one X and LG 3D TV's (as others who are reporting the problem also seem to have LG 3D TV's). Maybe the LG 3D TV's don't like to be switch from 4K to 1080p 3D mode? Or is the
Xbox One X doing something silly, like trying to set 3D mode on the TV, when the display resolution is still 2160p? Which won't work as there's no such thing as 4K 3D.

I have a workaround now, but I'd rather this was investigated, and fixed.

Just to recap, I have an LG 55UH850V 4K HDR 3D LED TV, with the latest firmware from LG.

    Thx

    XBox OneX not displaying 3d

Yes the Xbox one X does support 3d BluRay playback.

Have you checked video settings to see if allow 3d is checkmarked?

When to expect 3D Blu-ray and Dolby Digital support/patches?

XBox One needs Stereoscopic 3D Video format. [1]..Blu-ray player patch for 3D disk movies and games. [2]..3D ability for disk and digital (official)XO games, Kinect 2.0 and indie games. [3] HDMI pass-through port needs to allow 3D signal from 3D-capable
Cable/Satellite TV boxes, 3D Blu-Ray players and much more devices. [4]..3D entertainment app content such as Netflix, Youtube, etc.
