Xbox One X Overheating in fairly well ventilated area but fine with fan blowing into it.

My scorpio dose this but only some games cause it for me ?👍

The Xbox One X and One S have built in power boxes so it could overheat doubling up on the surge protection.

If your Xbox is still under warranty you can take it to a Microsoft store and they'll swap it out for a new one! Otherwise, all you can do is keep it in a well ventilated area and hope for the best!
