    I am wanting to use two monitors as one giant display. I know I can buy a splitter and have my output be mirrored on two monitors but that is not what I want. I want my Xbox out put to have half the output on one monitor with the other half on the second monitor. Using it as one giant display

    The Xbox one S does not output 4k game content. Only the One X is capable of doing that.

    Yes, the 360 can output up to 1080p, but not 4k. For 4k you will need a Xbox One S or Xbox One X.

    You should be able to set the output of the xbox one x to 1080p and if a game supports HDR, then the console will use it

    You'll be able to set the output of the Xbox One X to 1080p, and if a game supports HDR then the console will use it, I mean the Xbox One S supports HDR, so no reason why the Xbox One X would only allow it at 4K.
