Discus and support Xbox one x now downloading slow in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Today my xbox will not download more than 1mb. I cant play online games I loose server connection.     Xbox one x now downloading slow


    Today my xbox will not download more than 1mb. I cant play online games I loose server connection.

    I do a network test and it's 1mb download and 17mb upload.

    I have no apps running and no updates.

    It has been fine until now. I have tried wireless just incase it was the network cable but its the same out come.

    It not my network as phone and laptop read 70mb download.

    I've tried everything with the console but it will not download above 1mb

    First, welcome to the Xbox community. Given the problem you are having, I suggest you try the solutions below, please.

    Solution 1:

    Step 1. Press and hold the Xbox button on the console for at least 10 seconds to open the Power center.

    Step 2. Then unplug the power supply from your console and wait for 3 minutes.

    Step 3. Plug the power supply back into the Xbox console.

    Step 4. Press the Xbox button on the console to turn it on again.

    Solution 2:

    Press the Xbox button.

    Open Settings.

    Go to Network and select Network settings.

    Select Advanced settings.

    Select Alternate MAC Address.

    Select Clear.

    Select Restart.

    Solution 3:

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

    Select Reset console.

    On the Reset your console? screen, you'll see three options:

    - Select the option to keep your games and apps so that they are not deleted, make sure you know your email and password as they will be removed from the console and you will need to add them again.

    Very slow downloads on my Xbox X

    Are you over WiFi or Ethernet? I suggest the latter, as 4K content downloads are quite big, and Ethernet is the most reliable way to connect your Xbox to the internet.

    If you are currently streaming, like on Mixer (for example), background downloads would be slowed significantly.

    Ethernet.

    My friend has same router, Netgear R7000 and same ISP as me, and his downloads are even faster now with his X. I must be missing a step.

    downloaded update took 2 mins now im installing it taken 45 mins to do 60%
