    Hi,

    I need serious help with this situation.

    I switched on my Xbox One X after 6 months and it didnt turn on.

    After few seconds a burning smell started coming.

    I called up Xbox India helpline and they said they do not have a service repair centre in India for out of warranty consoles and asked me to ship it to USA.

    This makes no sense... my console is merely 1 year 8 months old, and i haven't even used it much... practically brand new. Why am i facing such a problem for a console that was meant to be strong and built to last?

    Can someone help me here, how do I get my Xbox One X repaired?

    Im not able to make a service request on this link.

    It just says device is not supported.

    How and where do I contact Xbox for a paid repair as my device is out of warranty?

    Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand you are having issue with console not turning on. I suggest the guide for console
    not powering on    . If it still will not turn on, you can go to device support. Here you can
    register console, check warranty status, and set up a repair. Try all the steps and let us know.

    I recently bought an XBOX One X and it worked fine for the first 6 months. I turned it on last week and the HDMI output is not working anymore.

    The problem is i havent used x-box then and since then till now.

    all the purchases ive done i have done throu the ingame store

    i dont have / havent used multiple accounts

    did not ever used any promo codes or any similar things

    no refunds either...
