XBOX ONE X NOT SHUTTING DOWN

My Xbox one x is not shutting down fully. It is in energy saving mode (Instant on mode is turned off).

When I supposedly have turned off the console and waited for a few minutes and power it back on, it instantly goes to the home screen, instead of going to the boot screen and loading the operating system there as it should do.

What might be wrong? Does anybody else have the same issue?

Screen death screen: several error code, and impossible to star it again, always an error. In recovering system

I have taken it for client guarantee service in France the 30th of march 2018 and until now , my x box one X is still in reparation!!!

try clearing the cache on your console by holding down the power button on your console for 10 seconds.

Thank you for reaching out to the forums with your inquiry. I understand your console is not powering down all the way when you try to shut it off. Have you tried toggling the Instant on mode and the Energy Saving mode off and on and back off to see if it
takes effect. That being said if its still not registering the change you may want to try these steps:

How to reset your console to factory defaults on Xbox One. (keep in mind you will need your Microsoft Account Email and Password to recover your account after the reset). Let us know if the issue persists after the steps.

Thank you for your reply. I have tried toggling it and I also have tried a factory reset. It did not help sadly.

from the console. This is because there may be a potentially corrupting file on your console's operating system that may still be there, even after a soft factory reset.

get your Xbox One X console repaired. You do have a couple of options in relation to how you go about setting up a repair, either at a

Microsoft store near you,
submitting a service order request yourself, or
contacting Xbox Support directly. If you wish to request a call back when contacting Xbox Support, it's going to ask if you want help from the virtual agent select
no thanks,pick the category(Games)and just pick a contact method
(request a call from support or Chat is faster).

Okay, so the issue is no longer present. It was as simple as just letting the console stay turned off for a few more minutes than I had left if for.
