    My Xbox One X will not pull in discs. I was installing Resident Evil 3 when the Xbox randomly shut off. I turned it back on and the game wouldn't install. Disc wouldnt come out either. Had to manually eject disc, and now disc drive will not function
    at all. Before anyone asks

    No, there is no discs in the Xbox.

    Yes, I power cycled the Xbox.

    Yes, I unplugged it, did this multiple times.

    I've tried manually ejecting again, have turned the Xbox on & off with the disc half inside. I have tried everything.

    Does anybody have advice on how to fix this, or is "the most powerful console" seriously going to break on me in such a stupid way like this?

    This is a copy and paste of something I already read. The roller doesn't activate, no noise comes from the disc drive.

    Hi! Thank you for reaching out to the community.

    I have searched around a bit and found this;

    1. Get a handful of Q-Tips. Don't cheap out on this step. You need quality Q-Tips that will hold together and not flake apart.
    2. Take said Q-Tips and lightly douse them in alcohol or a non-abrasive cleaning solution that doesn't leave residue behind. Squeeze out any excessive amount of cleaner. You don't want them to be leaky.
    3. Gently insert a Q-tip into the disc drive and wipe down the roller inside by going from one side to the other. Activate the roller by putting the Q-tip near the center of the drive to ensure you're getting the entire roller clean. Repeat with as many Q-tips
      as necessary until the Q-tips come out clean.

    Please provide further information regarding your matter if this did not help.
