  1. Xbox one x not powering from its port

Ive had trouble with my xbox powering up for a while but ive managed to get it to work from time to time. This time it wont work at all. When i plug the power cable into my xbox one x, it will not turn on. At first i thought the issue was a faulty cable,
but today i just bought a new cable and the xbox still wont power on. I believe now that the issue might be the power port in the xbox being faulty, but i am not sure. Before this issue it would have trouble powering on and i would have to wiggle the head
of the cable a certain way to get the xbox to turn on. When doing this i would hear an audible static pop and eventually the xbox would turn on as normal if positioned right. However now it will not work at all. Could this issue be internal or nothing more
than a faulty power port? Could these static pops be causing damage to the internals? I just want to know a possible issue that could be causing this and/or a solution to this issue. Edit:
i must clarify the static pops while audible were not visual

    :)

Xbox Skype Kinect camera being used by another application

Make very sure you're in the right USB port if you have an Xbox One without a dedicated Kinect port (like an Xbox One S or Xbox One X)!

The Kinect--even though it has a power adapter--needs consistent voltage in its USB connection too, and only the USB port on the Xbox labeled "Kinect" provides it (that's the port closest to the HDMI I believe.) A POWERED USB hub may work too.

But... plugging the Kinect into one of the other two USB ports--or a non-powered USB hub--will cause problems -- either a warning to plug it in the right port... or intermittent connection issues... or a failure to be detected at all.

Does the Xbox Series X/S work worldwide region free without any specific extra requirements?

    Hi, Kiara.

If you have an Xbox One S or an Xbox One X, you can use its power cord with your new console. The power cord from the original Xbox One would not work with a Series S/X console.

Xbox One X power cable not plugging in?

    Hey there, HeroicGemini67!

Just to clarify, have you applied firm pressure when connecting the power cable into the leftmost port on the back of the console? Does the cord or the port appear to be damaged or have any visible dirt or debris that may be affecting the cords from connecting
    or the console powering on?

In the meantime, we'd recommend reading over the
    Xbox One X set-up
guide to help with the console set-up process.

Xbox Series X Seagate 2TB SSD connection weak

There isn't enough power on the bus for the card and the external guessing platter HDD

You need to get a powered USB 3.0 hub, that comes with an external power brick
This was the first time I've had issues with it. I set the system up when I had the original Xbox one around 2015 or 2016 and the USB port layout has stayed the same when I switched to the newer Xbox Series X. The only difference was the switch from a USB 2.0 hub to a 3.0 hub

Since the Xbox Series X has more up to date USB ports, I doubt it would be a lack of distributed power

    USB Port Layout:

x1 - USB 3.0 HDD plugged directly into the port on the Series X

x1- USB 3.0 Hub 4-Port (Not independently powered by a power brick)

Xbox One X Ethernet Port Fried

    Hi there!

Sorry you're having issues with your network adapter. Does the X work on wireless still? Can you plug a laptop or another device into the Ethernet cable to ensure it's working with that, and not a closed port or bad cable? If you find it's working with a
laptop or other wired network device using the same cable and port, I would suggest unplugging your Xbox One X from the wall, power cycling your router and/or switch, then powering the One X back up. Sometimes routers and switches shut off ports if it detects
a network storm or collision, and it could temporarily block a MAC.

Post back and let us know!
