    Xbox One X not downloading games when turned off


    I just bought the new MW and I wanted to turn off my xbox so it can download the game during the night and the following day. I turned it off and checked an hour later with no download progress.

    Before you tell me, I have “Instant On” turned on. And I have “When Xbox is off, turn off storage” turned off.

    I use a strong wifi connection and I obviously have enough storage space.

    What gives?

    Do I just need to turn off the inactivity option and leave my system on all night?

    If you don't have enough storage for the new download, it will not download automatically.

    You do not have to leave your Xbox on but you cannot have it off you can leave it on or in sleep mode.
