Xbox one x not detecting display options

Just changed from one s, to one x. Had no problems with displaying hdr10 or dolby vision on the s, but the x won't even give me the option to enable them. Went to display details and the x is completely different from the s. Have high speed hdmi, so no
issue there. Not sure what the problem is, help appreciated

    :)

Still getting the "That didn't help" error

Upon changing the Display Overrides from Auto-Detect to HDMI, the picture changed to a 640 x 480 resolution and 4K was not an available option. Interesting!

    Thoughts??

    Thanks again Sammy!

    Xbox One X 4K Issue

Amazon had Scorpio’s this morning, you have to click the Xbox one X and then change the “size”. So they are still out there. My 1-X will not display 4k on my Visio TV even though it detects the TV having 4k with HDR 10.

In your Xbox display advanced settings do you have the HDMI option set to Auto-detect or HDMI ?

    XBOX ONE X

Yes absolutely it does, Your Xbox will auto-detect the type of Tv you have and setup default setting. To get the best display from your Xbox One X you will want to use a 4K capable TV with HDR.

Why won't my Series X let me setup Dolby Atmos?

There's no error code. There's just no option to select Dolby Atmos in the Xbox Series X menu except for headphones. I can tell you now that selecting HDMI for display is not the solution either. I already tried that because I saw a suggestion elsewhere regarding a similar issue. When I do that instead of selecting auto-detect the Xbox throws a fit and drops into 480p display mode and says my TV doesn't support 4k (which it does). I think once while having it set to HDMI I managed to get it to let me set the resolution to 1440p or 1080p but no matter what it still said my tv doesn't support 4K and all those other features (which it does). The Xbox only seems to recognize my TVs other features and capabilities when I have display set to auto-detect but with it set to auto-detect it doesn't detect atmos support (which it has) and so doesn't present it as an option that can be selected.
