XBox One X not accepting discs

Discus and support XBox One X not accepting discs in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; My XBox One X will not accept any discs. I put one in and it pulls it in, but not all the way.     XBox One X not accepting discs


    My XBox One X will not accept any discs. I put one in and it pulls it in, but not all the way. I can hear it struggling, but it doesn't pull it in all the way. I can eject it again normally, but no matter how many times I try it will not take the disc fully
    into the system to read it.

    Suggestions?

    I've done the hard reset.

    How do I know if I am fully updated?

    My Xbox is also not accepting any discs and I found that perhaps I am not updated fully? Can anyone help me out here?

    Hi

    If there are no discs already in the console and nothing contaminating the discs preventing the console drawing them in then you will probably need to send your console for servicing if you select the link posted below you should be able to create the service
    request.

    I want to know if Phil Spencer will do release for a external disk drive for xbox one/ series console?

    No one here is privy to plans for future Xbox

    If you wish a disc drive on a current console you can get a series X

    There is no way to Jerry-rig a Series S to accept a disc drive due to DRM requirements. The system would have to be redesigned. and you would have to purchase that revision.

    I think they have given me the wrong disc version

    On the disc is says "Xbox One - Xbox Series X"

    I believe this is the Xbox one version that is compatible on Series X

    Because I'm sure the Xbox Series X disc should say "Xbox Series X" and not Xbox One

    I have contacted the seller and awaiting a response but thank you for your help

    It actually does. I got the Series X this holiday at $349, and the same disc is working perfectly. I have determined that the Xbox One X disc drive is trying to read Cross Gen discs differently than Xbox One discs. The disc drive on the Series X doesn’t have this issue. You might need a new disc or you might need to send your Series X for maintenance.
