Xbox one x No Signal

hi i just restored my xbox one x because i was gunna give it to a friend and i plugged it in after restoring it and now it wont put signal on my tv

I received my console in the mail today through Gamestop. When i power up the console i hear a faint click noise coming from within the Xbox and while the Xbox is still on my TV doesn't get a signal and i have tried all of the troubleshoot
options on the Xbox support page. Was wondering if there are any specific solutions for the X or if im going to have to return it to Gamestop.

I would suggest to try the steps on our article here:
Troubleshooting a blank TV screen or monitor while your Xbox One is on.

Also, if that doesn't help try this:

1. Unplug the network cable if you're using a wired network connection.
2. Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.
   
3. Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in.
4. Press and hold the BIND button (located on the left side of the console) and the
   EJECT button (located on the front of the console), and then press the
   Xbox button on the console.
5. Continue holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds.
   
6. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the
   BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.

When the console powers up, you will see the

Xbox Startup Troubleshooter, if available:

After choose to Reset this Xbox. When prompted, select
Keep games and apps. This option will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or apps.

I'm literally having the same issue as you on my 3rd Xbox One X. The first two issues were a direct result of Insider Preview updates corrupting the harddrive. This instance was just a bad GPU on a console that I've only had for six days.

If you've tried using different HDMI cables and are able to use different displays and you are still not getting a picture, contact Xbox Support and start the repair process.

If you're like me and have a 3rd party warranty (gamestop) contact them for a replacement. Support here and on reddit is literally hit and miss … mostly miss. Don't waste your time with them.
