    XBox One X No Security lock feature?


    Upon checking my Xbox One X there is no "lock slot" or as some may call it "The Kensington Security Cable Slot Feature" located on the back of the Xbox One X whatsoever. What is the reasoning for this considering that this is the higher end model leaving
    it completely open to theft.

    Coping and pasting the last portion of my first response since it appears that we fail to understand that its a question not a discussion on what your opinion is on this feature.

    Also note that I have an Xbox One S that does have the feature and this is what really sparked my question on this.

    What would be the reasoning for the lack of this feature on the console is what I'm trying to get an understanding of. Also I would prefer the response from an official Microsoft Employee instead of an ambassador since the role it self
    is just a title and not indicative of your knowledge and capabilities to answer this question.

    No disrespect is intended in my wording just incase that needs to be clarified.

    This is not a discussion I'm looking for a credible answer to my question. Using a bike lock is clearly a terrible idea and surely you are just replying for the fun of it and not seeing the context or importance of this question.

    Hello HAZMAT RADIO,

    I don't believe that you seem to understand the basis of my question and observation that the Xbox One X does not have the Kensington lock feature. This feature is meant as a deterrent to possible theft any and all locks are not perfect and can be defeated.
    Its the lack of this feature on the console that of which I'm trying to get insight on since again it is the higher end version of the standard Xbox One. What would be the reasoning for the lack of this feature on the console is what I'm trying to get an understanding
    of. Also I would prefer the response from an official Microsoft Employee instead of an ambassador since the role it self is just a title and not indicative of your knowledge and capabilities to answer this question.

    XBox One X No Security lock feature?

    Most solutions are meant to slow or deter theft. (Putting it in a safe is very next step :) ).

    There are third party solutions that might work for you. Most involve attaching a piece to the case that will not easily come off.

    You won't get an "official" response here. The people that make design decisions don't frequent here, at least public ally.
