XBox One X - Network connectivity

Are you experiencing the issue on Xbox 360, Xbox One, or Series X|S? Is there any specific error code/message? There have been a lot of reports related to backwards compatability issues recently.

Same on muitiple xbox one x, xbox series x, xbox 360. Internet fine not connecting to xbox network.

random disconnection troubleshooting guide to see if those steps can help out with what you're experiencing.

Generally when connecting to Xbox Live, we recommend a wired connection over wireless whenever possible due to stability. Are both Xbox One X consoles you own connected to the same home network/router? It seems possible that the console featuring the wireless
connection could essentially be getting kicked off the network in that case.

Are you able to test out the Xbox One X console with the wireless connection while the Xbox One X console with the Ethernet cable connection is offline? Did that make any difference?

I understand that you're experiencing issues connecting your Xbox One X to your home Wi-Fi network. Based on the information you've provided, it seems like the issue might be related to the MAC address of your Xbox One X. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue:



1. Power cycle your Xbox One X and your router: Turn off your Xbox One X and unplug it from the power source. Then, turn off your router and unplug it from the power source. Wait for a few minutes, then plug in your router and turn it on. Wait for it to fully boot up, then plug in your Xbox One X and turn it on.



2. Reset your network settings: On your Xbox One X, go to Settings > Network > Network settings > Advanced settings > Alternate MAC address. Select "Clear" to reset your MAC address. Then, go to Settings > Network > Network settings > Set up wireless network and follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your home Wi-Fi network.



3. Check for updates: Make sure your Xbox One X is up to date with the latest software updates. Go to Settings > System > Updates & downloads > Console update available and follow the on-screen instructions to update your console.
