Xbox one x needs force reboot every time it sleeps.

my Xbox one x can’t open Netflix or settings or anything after it sleeps. To fix it I have to force reboot it. I’m sick and tired of rebooting this giant piece of **** every time I want to watch Netflix.

Xbox one slow at times

The console is basically a PC, and if you have it in "instant on" mode that means it only sleeps, it never turns off. Same as a PC, it will need a full "reboot" aka pull the plug and power it back on every so often to refresh everything.

I've had this happen a couple times now, and a complete power down and reboot fixes it.

HDCP issues

I have the same issue as well but am not using an HDMI hub. My setup is Dish Network DVR -> Xbox One -> Samsung TV. I have to hard reboot my Xbox One for TV to work again after it sleeps.

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this,

Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

No fix or workaround for this? It is incredibly annoying to have to reboot and force shutdown the console every single time.

The newer model bell fibe PVR unit works.. well should i say worked until the april 2014 patch. Now the cable box and the xbox both need a full reboot every time to make tv work once the pvr has gone into that sleep mode thing it does.
