Xbox One (X) - MP3-Discs, Copy/Paste, Disc Explorer

Hello Community and Microsoft

If I did not own games for Xbox One (X), I would want to return the console on the spot!

Reasons:

-Why the hell is, for example the ability to browse a disc to play MP3 files (or other formats), missing?

-Why the simple function "Copy / Paste" is missing - e.g. in Internet Explorer?

For comparison:

The Xbox 360 could e.g. search a disc for files. So why this technical retrogression? Why? This can not be!

Even the VLC player does not have access to regular CDs containing data, in this case MP3 files.

If you are working on a new console or on a major update, you must incorporate such simple multimedia features in my opinion!

Also, You can play music CD's with the Audio CD Player App available from the Store (Press "Y" from the home screen to search). Hope this helps.

Thank you for your reply, but this doens't help. I mean a Data-Disc with mp3-files on it.

On the Xbox 360 the kind of Disc (CD, DVD) didn't matter. It just worked!

You can suggest these ideas through Xbox Ideas which will allow other users to vote on the idea for potential implementation by the Xbox team. If enough votes are given to the
idea, the Xbox team may investigate further to see if it is possible to add to the console features.

Is the music in mp3 format or is the disc an actual audio disc?

What does your disc say exactly?

Usually, this happens if you have an Xbox One disc but you are installing the Series X|S copy vis gamepass or similar.
