    Xbox one x mouse problem - omega channel

    I had mouse problem with normal Xbox one X. Jerky movements in Minecraft and Fortnite. Tried some regular HP and Razer Viper mini with poll rate 125. It was bad.

    Support recommended to join insiders and go to omega. Done. On omega I was unable to reproduce problems with minecraft; as for fortnite - the mouse moves smooth for load screen and stw/br/creative selection but lobby and ingame is still jerky.

    Simplest way to reproduce - just move mouse from edge to edge of screen and make the video of it. I did 240fps on my old canon (sorry for quality). You may play it on 0.25 speed and clearly see that almost all the time the mouse cursor is moving for one frame a bit and then for next frame for a lot. Visually small step is like 1/10-1/5 of big one. Note there is no mouse skips - nor high load to cpu/gpu at lobby.

    Would be nice if someone from Microsoft could help/advice. Or help reach Epic (if they can communicate to them directly - Epic's own support routes to Microsoft and really listening).

    Have you try an another WLAN Channel on your Router. It helped me on my XBOX One X if there a WLAN Problems

    I have the same problem on Xbox X and XBox One. I’m using the Denon AVR-X 2700H 7.2 channel Dolby Atmos receiver with the XBox X, and the Yamaha RXV-6A 7.2 channel Dolby Atmos receiver with the Xbox One. Both receivers were working normally outputting Atmos on Netflix until November 2022. Disney+ and Amazon Prime play Atmos content on both devices without issue, hence indicating that the problem is not with the 4K TV and 4K projector, nor receivers.

    The problem doesn't come from my connection but it's a problem with the hard drive. I was Insider Xbox Preview Alpha but to avoid having another problem like this I am now Preview Omega . A friend lent me an Xbox One while waiting to have the Xbox X series.
    The hard drive problem must have happened during an update or when I switched my Xbox one S in 4K.
