Xbox One X Microphone Issues

Within the last two weeks my microphone has gone from fully functional to barely usable. I have an Xbox One X. I have tried several controllers including the Xbox One X, Original Xbox One and the special White Edition. I have two official Xbox One headsets
that came with the consoles. Neither work any differently. Here is what I have tried:

1. Console reboot

2. Controller / Headset firmware updates

3. Changing the settings from Windows Mic to Stereo Uncompressed

4. Unplugging and re-plugging in the microphone

5. Several controllers

6. Several microphones

7. Several different friends

8. Hosting and joining the group chats

9. My network is open (no NAT issues)

My ideal settings were to have the chat come through headset only and all game sounds through my speakers. This worked great until about 2-3 weeks ago when it started working only part of the time. The rest of the time either I could hear my friends and
they could hear me or vice versa. Now within the last week the only way it works is if I put the chat audio through the speakers. My microphone is working because they can hear me and so can Cortana. The audio in the headset is working because I hear the
max audio beeps when I hit the volume up button. The microphone is not on mute and my friends are not muted.

Can someone from Microsoft actual explain what is going on with their party chat system? It makes no sense to me.

USB Microphone on Xbox One?

Does anyone kno if the xbox one, s, or x supports usb microphones?

 

Xbox one x microphone problems

I have a HyperX wireless headset with mike and I use it on an Xbox one X. Today, I lost voice audio. I checked the headset on another xbox and it works fine. So I am assuming that the problem is with the Xbox one X console. I can't find any way to check
the console. Is there an adjustment, download, or update to the console that may be causing this?

 

It has now been a month and the issue has come and gone several times. I have also tried a 3.5mm microphone and it did not solve the issue. I do not believe Microsoft has a fix or cares to look at these posts. I guess I will forever be stuck listening
to friends through my TV.

To add to the issue, I had to set my mute volume to 80% so I could hear my friends better through the TV and noticed that sometimes it does not mute properly. I can fix it by going to the party chat or opening the Xbox Settings.
